Loved It Completely. Morales 2. She inadvertently gets the attention of a trickster cowgirl team named the Sweethearts of the Rodeo first cliche of manyand their leader decides to hire her among her crew due to the girl forging a note written by her mom. One must question how anges hell that is j Cowgirls n angels to being both believable and responsible by this old leader. Plenty of fights with her mom who looks NOTHING like her ensue, due to the little girl wanting to find out her who real father is meanwhile the mother continues to go on dates with losers.
I also don't like not finishing things I start. She gets into a few fights with her mother which cause her to cry far too many times, but since her mother gets no real character buildup, we do not relate to this "struggle" Cowigrls both have.
Her accent feels forced and fake, and if the director is just trying to sway us on her "cuteness" then he's out of luck, as since she's getting older than the small girl she was in Bridge to Terabithia, she's no longer even that cute anymore. Everything feels too focused on not only these small subplots, but just not ENOUGH on Cowgirls n angels things the movie should Cowggirls Cowgirls n angels, such as this little girl's skill as a rider, the Sweethearts' struggles with trying to be a great trickster team, any sort of characterization with the little girl's mother as well as her father who just HAPPENS to live and work nearby, etc.
While the film's directing kept my attention enough considering the atmosphere of Western Cowirls, the pretty girls who we also don't get to know AT ALLand even some of the music, I was simply waiting for this one to be over. The horseback riding was good, but I could only make it through half of the movie because I couldn't stand the little girl that they cast, her bratty character was NOT appealing to me.
However, the sequel to this movie is terrific and I would one hundred percent recommend Cowgirls n angels one! Her character is far too focused on finding her father but also makes her go through no TRUE struggle to do so. The film builds her up to be an underdog of sorts, but she faces no real competition and the Sweethearts of the Rodeo team face no rival whatsoever, therefore the film is devoid of any intriguing conflict.
We get small doses of everything, but not enough of any one thing.
Spontaneous drama ensues among the Sweethearts of the Rodeo such as a cowboy wanting to date one, and See, when you have a film where characters are faced with supposed struggles, but no time is alotted to SHOW any actual struggle, then we as the audience perceive no forseeable struggle. Plenty of fights with her mom who looks NOTHING like her ensue, due to the little girl wanting to find out her who real father is meanwhile the mother continues to go Cowgir,s dates with losers.
Cowgirl if there is no struggle we see no Cowgitls, and a story without Cowgirls n angels creates no drama and no interest. The plot was kind of flat, and there is one disturbing scene where the Cowgirls n angels character and her mom are screaming at each other and saying very mean things. Loved It Completely.

This leaves the viewer with little to no interest in anything as well. Morales 2.
I would not recommend this to your kids unless you want them to think that its cool to backtalk and sass you. If you want us to care about your main protagonist the little girl then you need to Cowgirls n angels least make her likable, and Bailee Madison simply is not. The chemistry is simply non-existent, and since they neither look or act alike, we don't buy them as mother and daughter Cowgirls n angels ALL. Edit Storyline "Cowgirls N' Angels" tells the story of Ida, a feisty and rebellious young girl, who has fantasies of finding her father, a rodeo rider.
Accepted wholeheartedly by her new "family," Ida finds a new passion that redefines her life -- and she also may find the father she's been searching for.
Bailee Madison puts on a very mediocre performance as this ambitious girl, but mostly because the script although TELLING us she's the Cogirls type who doesn't do well at listening to Cowgidls elders, makes her instead come across as spoiled, annoying, dumb, and ultimately unrelatable. One must question how the hell that is even close to being both believable and responsible by this old leader.
Nothing of real interest happens in this film because the while the directing and script are borderline competent, there is next to nothing here to invest the viewer. Recognizing Ida's innate talent for trick riding, Terence recruits her for their ranks.
Sure, this MAYBE has a small audience in the southern rodeo circuit, as the rodeo culture and life is something this film does show plenty of, but ultimately for the rest of us who value good characters and a good story, Cowgirls N Angels goes nowhere FAST. While searching for her dad, she connects with the Sweethearts of Cowgirls n angels Rodeo, a team of young female rodeo riders run by former rodeo star Terence Parker.
It's no surprise that we've never heard from her again - her acting ability is mediocre at best.
